Because we are human and not ideal beings, we often lose our way. When we take our life as it is, not as some idealized version of who we are or where we should be in our development, we find our true location, which is our real Self, our connection to the Divine.

Psychotherapy and Approach

Jennifer offers guidance, honest feedback, effective tools and nurturing support to assist with the effects of challenging personal growth, life transitions, losses, emotional wounds, and traumas. Her counseling approach is experiential and holistically oriented with emphasis on the mind/body and spirit connection. She offers energy work to augment psychotherapy when needed and works with individuals ready to delve deeper into their personal healing and spiritual self-discovery.

Psychotherapy addresses a variety of mental health issues including those listed below. Core beliefs about the self and the world are identified and made conscious to allow one to create the life one desires. The goal of therapy is also viewed as a process of developing a stronger connection to oneself, one’s purpose or spiritual path, and relationships with others.

Although this is a lifelong process, issues such as depression, anxiety and addictions may emerge as ways to cope with childhood wounds and the stresses of everyday life. With the right guidance, we begin to understand what we can change about how we are coping. With awareness we learn to make choices on how to live, cope with life’s challenges and receive what we want to create in our lives.
